Robert Jordan
It is with sadness that we must report the tragic passing of Robert Jordan.  Mr. Jordan, well known for his Wheel of Time fantasy stories as well as numerous other fantasy works, will be greatly missed.  We send condolences to his family and express our appreciation for his lasting contributions to the literary world. 

Annual "Heart & Sole" Christmas Game Night
December 6th, 7pm. at the Murray Borders
Bring your Lord of the Rings and other Fantasy games. Donate to the homeless shelter. Items needed: warm gloves, hats, sweaters, coats, scarves, new socks, etc. The top three people who bring the most items will be awarded a prize.

Into The West's Fantasy Festival 2007 helps over 50 disadvantaged children attend The Nutcracker this Christmas!!! Into The West's Fantasy Festival 2007 raised money this year to help over 50 children attend the Nutcracker Ballet this winter.  Thanks to all of you who attended and supported this event.   Next year we will hold the Fantasy Festival on Saturday, April 26th at the University of Utah Union Building.  Be sure to mark your calendars as speakers and craftsmen and women are already coming on board for another fun filled event.

Non-profit organizations are run by men and women who want to help their community.  We have no income, yet, to make quilts for hospitals, buy clothing for the homeless, to educate our community, to provide cultural opportunities for the disadvantaged child, we need start up money.

Into the West donates $300.00 in new, warm clothing, hats, gloves, and under armor (thermals) to the ROAD HOME.

Into the West makes and donates it's second quilt to Primary Children's Hospital. A big thank you to Ann Marie Kloogh and Dana Bankhead for their generous support of this project.
